Lynford Arboretum Conservation Group
In 2006 the Commission asked the Friends of Thetford Forest Park to undertake the basic care of the arboretum. In February 2007 the Friends of Thetford Forest Park Lynford Arboretum Conservation Group was formed; the group's purpose is to nurture and improve the shrub layer, plant young specimen trees and foster the tranquillity of the place.

The Lynford Arboretum Conservation Group meets twice a month, the schedule for the group can be viewed here, and we invite Friends of Thetford Forest Park members to assist in this project. If you are interested in becoming involved with this project, (gardening on a rather grand scale), please contact Mike Hume by telephoning 01953 457520 or by email mandsu@supanet.com.
