Friends of Thetford Forest Park Conservation
The Friends of Thetford Forest Park has established two conservation groups who undertake various tasks during scheduled events.

Tasks have include scrub clearance in and around the Goshawk Trail at Mayday Farm, clearing around the various ponds around High Lodge, and the construction and placement of bat boxes in and around High Lodge.
We meet every 3rd Sunday in a month, and the meeting point depends on the location of the work being undertaken, but a mail is sent out the week prior to the meeting to confirm the details of the date and starting point. Tools and safety gear are provided, as are refreshments, so all you need bring is yourself. For insurance purposes, non members we ask for a donation of £1.00 to comply with the terms of the insurance, and that all attendees follow the instructions given at the health and Safety briefing before starting work.
If you would like to give it a go, please see the contact details on the Conservation page
